About AAR Rescue

Emergency Rescue Service was started in 1984 under the company name of Africa Air Rescue.

AAR Rescue Services is about saving lives on time, and evacuating casualties to the nearest health facility in a safe manner.

We are on a mission to rescue and assist people in medical emergencies quickly and competently and also train the public on safety and emergency-related course.

Ground and Air Emergency Evacuation

Our Ambulances service

Our ambulances are either Basic Life Support or Advanced Life Support. The ambulances are manned by Paramedics who are nurses trained in Pre- hospital care. The ambulance drivers are Emergency Medical Technicians that double up as Paramedic assistants.

We work in collaboration with other external stakeholders that provide air evacuation to our clients in time of need. We provide high quality service to our clients and endeavor to keep up and event uphold internationally accepted standards.

We offer emergency subscription service to our clients; Both ground and air in the form of membership in an annual enrollment. Our clients can choose to subscribe to our service, as an individual, family or as a corporate/Organization.

How to reach Us

We run a 24/7 medical emergency dispatch centre, which receives distress calls and dispatches ambulances all over the country. Our dispatch manages the Medical Helpline for Online medical direction.

How to call for an Ambulance

  • Dial any of the emergency numbers.
  • State your name and provide your contact details.
  • Describe the nature of the emergency and your location.
  • Give the precise directions to the location.
  • Do not hang up until the dispatcher requests you to do so or until an ambulance has been dispatched

Our Team

Our Ambulance team comprises of Doctors specializing in medical emergencies, Clinical officers, Nurses and Emergency Medical Technicians.

Our emergency medical technicians are trained to the level of Paramedics. They are trained on Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Trauma and Incidence command systems.

The EMT Operators drive the ambulances and they are also medical assistants who are qualified EMT’s and trained on ACLS, Trauma and Disaster Management.
